New Entrants
~ This week we have a sudden re-entry from Justin Bieber – What Do You Mean? yet again. So only three new entrants this week.
~ Long-time Hit-Bound veteran, One Direction – History, made its debut this week. I've heard better from One Direction, but this song is pretty good. I really hope it won't be overplayed the way Perfect and Drag Me Down have been.
~ Fifth Harmony is back with their new single, Work From Home, the follow-up to 2015's Worth It. I feel Work From Home is similar to Worth It in many ways, one of which being that both extremely infectious and catchy. I did have mixed feelings on this song at first, but after more listens I began to really enjoy it and it became my new jam for a while.
~ The best entrant this week comes from rapper, G-Eazy, with his hit single, Me, Myself, & I featuring Bebe Rexha. I did not like this song at first. I thought Bebe Rexha's voice was annoying, which it still kind of is. But at some point I decided to listen to the whole song straight through and I'm glad I did. G-Eazy really nailed it on the verses. The lyrical content is probably some of the best I've heard in a rap song in a while. This song deserves at least a decent amount of success. So hopefully, it gets it.
Blurb From Home
~ Pitbull/Osmani Garcia/Lil Jon – El Taxi lasted a short, but sweet three weeks on the countdown. Very annoying that Hits 1 got rid of it so soon.
~ Panic! At The Disco – Victorious managed to reach the Top 10. I would've loved that a few months ago when that song was my jam. It's still good now, but not as good.
~ I guess the journey for Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime is now coming to an end. Pretty sad if you ask me.
~ On a more positive note, Rihanna/Drake – Work pulled a Hits 1 Rihanna plummet, which was destined to happen eventually. Hopefully, this song can make its way out of here.
~ One Direction – Perfect seriously needs to make its way out of the Top 10. It annoys me that people are supposedly still voting for this song.
~ Adele – Hello currently is holding the crown for most overplayed song of 2016. That may be destined to change within the upcoming months. But quite honestly, I'm just so tired of hearing the beginning piano followed by "Hello? It's me."
~ The Weeknd – In The Night took a well-deserved drop this week. Same with Drag Me Down.
~ Justin Bieber – Love Yourself made quite the recovery this week. This is the kind of stuff that makes me happy. :)
~ Due to it currently being #1 on iTunes, I can already see Meghan Trainor – No as this massive Top 5 hit very soon. Thankfully, I actually like this song.
~ Flo Rida – My House has rose to the #2 spot this week. I still really like this song, so I would be really happy if it managed to reach #1. Honestly it's no contest for which song I'll pick between this song and One Call Away. So I would definitely like to see this hit #1.
~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! Find out if Coldplay can hold at #1 for a second week in a row and a third time overall with Hymn For The Weekend.

New Entrants
~ With the highest debut of the week, we have adult-contemporary artist, James Bay, with his song, Let It Go. Similar to my initial reaction to Lukas Graham – 7 Years, this song isn't really anything special in my opinion. Honestly, there are some parts of this song where James Bay's voice sounds really good, and then parts where it's crazy annoying. The song is kind of boring, but certainly not bad. For now, it's okay. I've definitely heard worse.
~ Our other debut comes from We The Kings with The Story Of Tonight. I like how this song has a very fast pacing to it. The vocals were done really well. Overall, it's a pretty damn catchy song. Not much else to say about it.
The Story Of Blurbs
~ I don't think anyone saw Charlie Puth – One Call Away as a potential #1 song. I still don't like it. It's still really boring to me. But that's just me. Apparently, North America is currently in love with Charlie Puth and just boosted One Call Away to the top spot just because it's Charlie Puth.
~ I'm pretty sure no one saw Rachel Platten – Stand By You as a song that would hit #2. It has now officially peaked higher than Fight Song, which is good because I definitely think Stand By You was a reasonable step up from Fight Song. Now the real question is: Can this song hit #1? I would like it to, but I doubt it. But on this countdown, anything can happen. I mean if One Call Away is capable of hitting #1, Stand By You should be as well.
~ Zayn Malik – Pillowtalk was destined to reach the Top 5 eventually, but I didn't think it would so soon. Unfortunately, this song isn't as good now as it was after a couple of listens to it. I don't know how, but I somehow kind of grew out of the song. I don't really want it to hit #1, but I'll certainly take it over One Call Away any day.
~ Flo Rida – My House finally made that jump into the Top 5. I still think it's a pretty catchy song and I still love the chorus. I'm guessing it may be a while until I actually get sick of it.
~ The Chainsmokers/Rozes – Roses is now in the Top 10. I'm actually enjoying this song quite a bit now. I've grown to really enjoy it.
~ I'm surprised Tori Kelly – Hollow is still here. It's still a little bit of a flop on this countdown being above #30 for one week.
~ I'm not even kidding when I say that I heard Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats – S.O.B. as Ear Poppin' Music earlier this week.
~ The big drop from Taylor Swift – Wildest Dreams to the Bottom 5 of the countdown was very needed. Thanks guys. Now let's try to get it out of the countdown.
~ Panic! At The Disco – Victorious has hit a new peak at #13 this week on its second countdown run. There aren't that many songs that are capable of doing that, disregarding the few times a one-week wonder re-entered a few years later and actually had some success (Taylor Swift – Out Of The Woods, Olly Murs – Dance With Me Tonight, etc.).
~ The big jump to #11 from Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato – Irresistible really was not necessary, but it certainly was expected due to Hits 1's obsession with Fall Out Boy.
~ Justin Bieber – Love Yourself unfortunately had a little bit of a plummet down to #35 this week. I thought this new album would be a fresh start for Justin Bieber. Clearly not as Hits 1 is still willing to throw his songs out. Even a song from him that was co-written by Ed Sheeran, a Hits 1 favorite, had to drop this quickly. Smh Hits 1.
~ Twenty One Pilots – Stressed Out made quite a massive drop out of the #1 spot this week. We haven't seen a song drop this much out of the top spot since Fall Out Boy – Alone Together.
~ Things are looking pretty good as we got rid of two pieces of trash this week. We seriously need to get rid of more in the upcoming weeks.
~ And finally..................One Direction – Drag Me Down has finally made that massive drop we were waiting for!!! It's about time!!!!!! :D
~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! Find out if Ellie Goulding can hold at #1 for a third week in a row with Something In The Way You Move.

Throwback Pick Of The Week: Kelly Clarkson – Behind These Hazel Eyes
Most Missed Countdown Song: Owl City/Carly Rae Jepsen – Good Time
My Top 5 Picks
1. Ellie Goulding – Something In The Way You Move
2. 5 Seconds Of Summer – Jet Black Heart
3. Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime
4. Pitbull/Osmani Garcia/Lil Jon – El Taxi
5. The Chainsmokers/Rozes – Roses
And now to wrap up this post, I thought I'd do a little Top 10 countdown. Yesterday was Adam Levine's birthday. He's well known not only because he's the front man of Maroon 5, but also one of the four coaches on the hit TV show, The Voice. So since yesterday was his birthday, I thought I would count down my Top 10 favorite songs from Maroon 5. This is definitely tough since Maroon 5 has always been one of my favorite bands. I would say they're at #3 for my favorite bands of all time. They've had a ton of hits that have stuck with me. So without further ado, here are my Top 10 favorite songs from Maroon 5!
10. Animals (from "V")
9. Love Somebody (from "Overexposed")
8. Maps (from "V")
7. Payphone (feat. Wiz Khalifa) (from "Overexposed")
6. Misery (from "Hands All Over")
5. Wake Up Call (from "It Won't Be Soon Before Long")
4. This Love (from "Songs About Jane")
3. Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera) (from "Hands All Over")
2. Won't Go Home Without You (from "It Won't Be Soon Before Long")
1. She Will Be Loved (from "Songs About Jane")
Honorable Mentions: If I Never See Your Face Again (feat. Rihanna) (single / Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded"), One More Night ("Overexposed"), Makes Me Wonder ("It Won't Be Soon Before Long"), Never Gonna Leave This Bed ("Hands All Over"), My Heart Is Open (feat. Gwen Stefani) ("V")
So those were my Top 10 favorite songs from Maroon 5. What are your favorite songs from Maroon 5? Let me know in the comment section down below. I'm really curious. Honestly, picking my favorite songs from them was a struggle. But I managed to figure it out. And that is all I have for you guys this week.

Top 10 Rihanna Songs
So this week, Rihanna managed to hold at #1 for a fourth week in a row on the Billboard Hot 100 with her hit single, Work. I still dislike that song with great intensity. But how about the songs from her that I do like? She is one of my favorite female artists and is definitely in my Top 10 list for my favorite artists of all time. So picking just 10 songs that I like from her wasn't the easiest thing in the world. But I managed. So here are my Top 10 favorite songs by Rihanna!
10. Don't Stop The Music (from "Good Girl Gone Bad")
9. Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko) (from "Unapologetic")
8. Pon De Replay (from "Music Of The Sun")

Someone already commented this in the previous post, but for those who haven't seen it yet should check out loser.com. ~ Meghan Trainor hosted the countdown (and Hit-Bound) this week. I wonder if that has anything to do with her song debuting the countdown. Those of you who have been here in 2014 know how much I hated All About That Bass to the point where it was the #1 worst song of the 2014. Lips Are Movin' was good for a while, but got uninteresting relatively quickly. Dear Future Husband stuck with me longer making it her first song that I actually enjoyed. Then Like I'm Gonna Lose You was extremely boring and I did not like it at all. No is pretty hard to resist. It's really catchy. Her vocals actually aren't awfully out of place and annoying. The lyrical content is a little questionable (like it was with Dear Future Husband), which is why I don't love it. But I like the production on the track. Hopefully, her new album will actually be decent enough to the point where I can actually listen to it.
El Blurbs
~ Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello – I Know What You Did Last Summer is really locked on to that #10 spot. I believe this is its fourth or fifth consecutive week holding.
~ Disclosure/Lorde – Magnets was destined to decline at some point. I still enjoy it though.
~ Ellie Goulding – Something In The Way You Move made a really nice jump into the Top 10. I'm really happy about that. Now Top 5? Maybe?
~ Along with Something In The Way You Move, we have other Top 10 entrants from two extremely boring songs that I just can't stand. Can we not vote for them?
~ In the Top 10, we have three good songs, five songs that are extremely annoying, one that is about to be extremely annoying, and one that is mediocre at best. Things are not looking good.
~ Troye Sivan – Youth finally made that well-deserved jump. Nice to see it get some love.
~ On the other hand, the massive jump from Rihanna/Drake – Work was not appreciated. I still find this song extremely annoying. I can't believe this piece of trash has been #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.
~ Once upon a time, we had three Taylor Swift songs all ten spots apart from each other. One of them is really old and annoying. Another is still pretty good and I'm annoyed it's the one song from 1989 that didn't hit #1. And the last one made a floppy second-week jump like a lot of songs are doing nowadays.
~ I feel like this is the end of the journey for Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats – S.O.B.. You're still a song I can laugh at just from the lyrical content.
~ Justin Bieber – Love Yourself clearly didn't last long in the Top 5. Can we possibly get it back up there? That would be appreciated.
~ I'm not even going to comment on One Direction – Drag Me Down's jump back to #2.
~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! Find out if Ellie Goulding can hold at #1 for a second week in a row with Something In The Way You Move.

One Direction (2) – Week Of March 5, 2016
I guess this week can be considered better in some ways. But it can also be considered worse in other ways, like maybe our #1 song. Yesterday was my brother's birthday. So today we went to see the new animated film, Zootopia. It's a very good movie. I definitely recommend it. I can already see it winning awards for Best Animated Film. Before we get to this week's Fresh 45, here are the songs we're saying goodbye to this week.

New Entrants
~ Having the highest debut of the week, we have Lukas Graham – 7 Years. This song is only okay to me. It doesn't really seem like anything too special (disregarding the fact that it's currently #1 on iTunes). Sure, it's a sweet song and all. But it just doesn't catch my attention.
~ Continuing with this never-ending train of singles from 1989, Taylor Swift debuts with New Romantics. This is one of the better songs from the album. It's better than Style and Wildest Dreams. I like it now. It's fun to jam out to. But I can see myself getting sick of it soon. We'll see how long this song can last.
~ Rihanna debuted this week. The last time we heard from her was FourFiveSeconds from about a year ago. That song was okay, I guess. But her new single, Work, is just straight up bad. It features Drake and frankly, he makes the song worse. I don't understand what people like about this song. It has that same sound as most of the hip-hop/rap trash we've suffered through all throughout 2015. When comparing this to Rihanna and Drake's previous #1 collaboration, What's My Name?, it's pretty clear which song is the superior one. When comparing not only this new song, but Rihanna's new album as a whole, to some of her previous stuff like Good Girl Gone Bad, Rated R, Loud, and Talk That Talk, there's a huge difference. I get that she's trying something new and experimenting different sounds. I appreciate that. But it does not work at all on songs like Work. I mean come on, you can't even understand 75% of what she's saying. All I hear is "Work, work, work, work, work, work" like 20 times. At some point it sounds like complete gibberish. The lyrics are stupid. The production is extremely lazy. Pretty much everything about this song does not work. What makes it worse is that I've always been a fan of Rihanna and her music. I have loved a huge chunk of her music. But Work is a huge disappointment. Her album, Anti, is not good either. There's probably like 2 good songs on there. That's it. I really hope Rihanna does not think this trashy sound is good for another whole album in the future.
~ The best entrant this week comes from Pitbull with his single, El Taxi. I think the beat is really catchy. The song itself is very different and interesting. I've been enjoying it for quite a while now. I'm curious as to how this song will do on this countdown.
7 Blurbs
~ We got rid of some trash this week. So that's good. Like I'm Gonna Lose You and Shut Up and Dance were long overdue. Moments was pretty floppy anyway. I actually still like New Americana. I don't know what it is that makes it so catchy that I, for whatever reason, don't get sick of it.
~ Justin Bieber – Love Yourself made it into the Top 5 much faster than Sorry did. Let's see if this song can do something Sorry was really close to doing: hit #1. Sorry, on the other hand, took a little tumble this week. I still really enjoy it, but I'm fine with it dropping.
~ Can we not with Selena Gomez – Hands To Myself in the Top 10? Selena Gomez's music has seriously not been good lately. That Top 10 entrant isn't very welcome. However, the Top 10 entry from Rachel Platten – Stand By You is very welcome.
~ Troye Sivan – Youth clearly isn't as good in Hits 1's eyes as it is in mine's. Are you guys really gonna make it have a floppy tenure like Tove Lo – Moments and Tori Kelly – Hollow? It's a really catchy song, so it should be having more success than this.
~ Our One Direction songs in the Top 3 need to seriously move down. Perfect should not be #1 at this point anymore and Drag Me Down shouldn't even be on the countdown anymore at this point.
~ The results for Round 4 of the Song Wars is out and the voting survey for Round 5 is up as well. Both links can be found under the tab labeled "2015/2016 Song Wars" on the right-hand side. You guys have until next Saturday to vote for Round 5.
~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! Find out if Twenty One Pilots can hold at #1 for a second week in a row with Stressed Out.

Most Missed Countdown Song: Linkin Park/Steve Aoki – A Light That Never Comes
#1 Recommendation For Hits 1: Hailee Steinfeld/DNCE – Rock Bottom
My Top 5 Picks
1. Ellie Goulding – Something In The Way You Move
2. Justin Bieber – Love Yourself
3. Coldplay – Adventure Of A Lifetime
4. Pitbull/Osmani Garcia/Lil Jon – El Taxi
5. Justin Bieber – Sorry
Earlier this week, I began a new series where I count down the Top 10 songs from different artists. I did Justin Bieber and Kesha because their birthdays had just past. Chris Martin's birthday was also this past week (Wednesday). So I thought I would count down my Top 10 favorite songs from Coldplay. Coldplay is pretty much my favorite band. So picking only 10 songs I love from them was rather difficult. But I managed to do it. So here they are:
10. Princess Of China (feat. Rihanna) (from "Mylo Xyloto")
9. Hymn For The Weekend (from "A Head Full Of Dreams")
8. Charlie Brown (from "Mylo Xyloto")
7. Yellow (from "Parachutes")
6. The Scientist (from "A Rush Of Blood To The Head")
5. Viva La Vida (from "Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends")
4. Fix You (from "X & Y")
3. Violet Hill (from "Viva La Vida Or Death and All His Friends")
2. In My Place (from "A Rush Of Blood To The Head")
1. Paradise (from "Mylo Xyloto")
Honorable Mentions: A Sky Full Of Stars (Ghost Stories), Clocks (A Rush Of Blood To The Head), Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Mylo Xyloto), Adventure Of A Lifetime (A Head Full Of Dreams)
So those were my Top 10 favorite songs from my favorite band of all time, Coldplay. I hope you enjoyed. :)

Top 10 Justin Bieber and Kesha Songs
Hey guys! This may a new thing I'll do every once in a while. I may start giving you the Top 10 songs from many different artists. Since these two artists' birthdays just past (both March 1), I thought it'd be a great time to rank the Top 10 songs from Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Justin Bieber, as well as American singer, songwriter, and rapper, Kesha. So let's get right into it starting with the Top 10 songs from Justin Bieber, one of my favorite male artists who has never released anything I dislike.
10. Memphis (feat. Big Sean) (from "Journals")
9. Love Yourself (from "Purpose")
8. Somebody To Love (feat. Usher) (Remix from Usher's "Versus")
7. All Around The World (feat. Ludacris) (from "Believe")
6. Boyfriend (from "Believe")
5. Baby (from "My World 2.0")
4. Never Say Never (feat. Jaden Smith) (from "Never Say Never: The Remixes")
3. As Long As You Love Me (feat. Big Sean) (from "Believe")
2. Sorry (from "Purpose")
1. Beauty and a Beat (feat. Nicki Minaj) (from "Believe")
1. Beauty and a Beat (feat. Nicki Minaj) (from "Believe")
Now here are the Top 10 songs from Kesha. Unfortunately, Kesha is still stuck under her contract with Sony and producer, Dr. Luke, after saying he allegedly sexually assaulted her. So #FreeKesha. But regardless, she's definitely one of my favorite artists in general. I love her voice and just about every song from her. So here we go!
10. Crazy Kids (from "Warrior")
9. Right Round (w/ Flo Rida) (from Flo Rida's "R.O.O.T.S.")
8. Your Love Is My Drug (from "Animal")
7. C'Mon (from "Warrior")
6. Sleazy (from "Cannibal")
5. Die Young (from "Warrior")
4. Take It Off (from "Animal")
3. Blow (from "Cannibal")
2. TiK ToK (from "Animal")
1. We R Who We R (from "Cannibal")
Honestly, both of these artists are absolutely amazing and it was extremely hard ranking all of these songs. But those were my Top 10 favorite songs from Justin Bieber and Kesha. What are your favorite songs from each of these artists? Let me know in the comment section down below. That's all I have for you today. I hope you enjoy the remainder of your week.
