Biggest Jump Of The Week: The Vamps/Demi Lovato – Somebody To You (+29)
New Entrants
~ Seriously??? Maroon 5 – Maps had to leave for this piece of crap to re-enter. Words cannot describe how annoying that is.
Happy Blurbentine's Day
~ The Vamps/Demi Lovato – Somebody To You made the kind of comeback I expect from MKTO – American Dream sometime in the near future.
~ Hozier – Take Me To Church definitely aired more than Meghan Trainor – Lips Are Movin', yet the latter is still above the other.
~ Yes everyone. MisterWives – Reflections is still here. It gets weirder every week.
~ Charli XCX – Boom Clap, OneRepublic – Love Runs Out, and 5 Seconds Of Summer – She Looks So Perfect have been here forever and need to leave now!!! This isn't funny anymore. Hits 1 is probably losing listeners right now with the excessive airplay of these songs. If people aren't tired of these songs right now, there's something wrong.
~ Words can't describe how much I hate Usher – I Don't Mind. It sounds too much like some of the other boring mainstream crap like Jeremih/YG – Don't Tell Em. Way to put me to sleep with your ridiculously boring song, Usher.
~ I Love Makonnen/Drake – Tuesday is literally one of the worst songs I've ever heard. Again with this kind of mainstream crap.
~ I was with some of my friends the other day and we were sharing our least favorite songs ever. I said All About That Bass, one of my friends said Fancy, and the other said #SELFIE. It's interesting to know what some of your friends dislike. Another one of friends doesn't think I'm Not The Only One is old and I'm just like, "Do you listen to how much the radio plays that song?" She loves Take Me To Church though, which I'm happy about. Then one or two days ago, another one of my friends was like, "I have a song stuck in my head." And I'm like, "What is it?" And then she said, "Do you know Maroon 5's 'Sugar'?" So that kinda set me off. Then I have friends who still like Habits (Stay High)!!! And another one of my friends didn't even know Take Me To Church. Friends these days.
~ I knew Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk was gonna hit #1 again at some point.
~ Ever since Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani performed My Heart Is Open, I have been addicted to that song. I really really like it.
~ I understand that Hits 1 refuses to put meaningful songs at #1. I mean you have stupid songs like Timber that have a long run at #1. But meaningful songs like Take Me To Church are apparently too meaningful and beautiful to hit #1. See how little sense that makes? This is one of the most meaningful songs I have ever heard. This song is the most worthy of the #1 spot out of the rest of the Top 10. Sure, I wasn't happy when Maroon 5 – Animals didn't hit #1. But that's nothing compared to this. If this doesn't hit #1, I will start complaining more than I have ever complained before. People are like "Thinking Out Loud should hit #1 because it's a love song." Well Take Me To Church is a song that fights for love equality. I personally think it's more powerful than Thinking Out Loud will ever be. Hopefully now I have proved my point.
~ I watched the music video for Take Me To Church earlier this week (I know. I'm kinda falling behind). I almost started to cry. It's sad that people can't be who they are without the fear of being tormented by people who are apparently against human rights. We should all be fighting for human equality. No matter who we love, we are all humans and deserve the same rights as everyone else. We should not feel like second-class citizens because of who we love. Here's the link for the music video if you haven't seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYSVMgRr6pw
~ If you are one of the people spending Valentine's Day single and alone. I published some quotes about being single on the right side bar. They're some of my favorite quotes.
~ The Valentine's Day edition of the Hit 45 Chart is out! Check out if Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding – Outside will hold #1 for a second week in a row: http://hit45chart.blogspot.com
~ Adrian's Most Missed Song This Week: Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe

Yasssss! It may snow here in Gerorgia!
DeleteThatchos, if that entire list up there are meaningful #1 songs, you got some of them wrong. Thrift Shop, Fancy, All About That Bass, Call Me Maybe, and Talk Dirty are not meaningful. They're just songs with either no meaning or a stupid meaning.
DeleteI knew that. The songs from Thrift Shop on were meant to be jokes.
DeleteSorry about the misunderstanding.
:(
Taylor Swift-Blank Space was a meaningful song.Jack
ReplyDeleteLeah Baker, Mikey Rossy, and you-know-who are the most hilarious people I know.

It's never too late to ask someone out. And everyone has that exact same fear of being rejected. But you'll never know unless you try. I would go for it if I were you.
DeleteEven though you are gay, I highly respect you and your opinions (love-related).
DeleteYou are now my new #adviceconsultant. You should be proud for receiving this honor.
-Remy
I am. I love helping other people. :)
DeleteYeah, what Adrian said.
DeleteBut, Remy, I think it's interesting that the guy you like's name just so happens to be Thatchos! What a coincidence!
…wait.
(takes a deep breath) Thatchoswillyougooutonadatewithme?
Delete-Remy
……………
DeleteDefine "date."
No offense, just asking.
Wait a minute. Isn't the GUY supposed to ask the GIRL out?
Delete#RemyScrewedUp (again)
#SorryThatchos
-Remy
Oh, that wasn't the problem.
DeleteI was just wondering what "date" meant.
Ah. Well, technically, a "date" simply, and technically, cannot happen via blog commenting section.
DeleteBut... we could MAKE it happen... if possible. And by permission, of course.
#WhosTheSmartOneNowThatchos
-Remy
Hmmmmm………
DeleteI'll have to think about it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTyN-vvFIkE
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
DeleteThat's so funny!
Oh, wait...
Can you beat THIS?!?!?!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkdmOVejUlI
-Remy
NO LOL I NEED TO ASK HER
ReplyDeleteOmg they played problem on hits 1
ReplyDeleteYeah. No surprise. Like I said, they often play past hits because they can't only play the same music over and over and over again.
DeleteI got 1 less problem without yoi
DeleteIn fact one time not too long ago Fall Out Boy - Young Volcanoes hit #4 on a Wutchuwant Countdown. It hasn't re-entered though…at least not yet.
DeleteAlso, I've heard Swedish House Mafia/John Martin - Don't You Worry Child a BUNCH of times. In fact I've heard it so much I'm thinking it might re-enter soon. Not that I'd be bothered with that.
#WOOPWOOPPresidentsDay
OH THATCHOS AND LETS SING BUDAPEST
ReplyDeleteYou should listen to Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth featuring Meghan Trainor. I think you would really like it.

ReplyDeleteMy birthday is actually tomorrow! #nokidding #lucky13

-Remy
m birthdays in june
Deletehappy early birthday (I heard bills and I hate it so much
ReplyDeleteThey played problem twice
ReplyDeleteOMG WHY INFINITY IN THE WUTCHYWANT COUNTDOWN (it might enter the countdown..,,,
ReplyDeleteWas it #1?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why Hits 1 is playing all these songs that have not debuted on Hits 1 or the countdown. What they should do is get rid of songs like Steal My Girl, She Looks So Perfect, Don't, Reflections, Shake It Off, All About That Bass, Love Runs Out, American Dream, Boom Clap, I'm Not The Only One, Riptide, Night Changes, Somebody To You, Weekend, and Infinity. That would solve a lot of problems! They also need to be playing Stuck On A Feeling, That song is popular everywhere else but Hits 1! Rant over.
ReplyDeleteHuh? Night Changes isn't popular anywhere else?
DeleteAlso, I'm Not the Only One is still in the top 10 songs in America.
And I do believe Love Runs Out has had its time, but I still like it.
Fourfiveseconds hit number 3 on the wuchuwant countdown.
ReplyDeleteWOOP WOOP
Delete#HasEitherKanyeOrPaulEverBeenOnTheWeekendCountdownBefore
