New Entrants
~ With Levels making this unnecessary re-entry, that means we have three new entrants.

~ The best entrant just so happens to be Nelly/Jeremih – The Fix. I actually didn't like this song at first. But I did grow into it. It has a pretty catchy hook to it, which is mainly what makes me continuously come back to it. I don't really see this song staying long on this countdown. But at least a couple weeks will be good.

~ The Vamps debuted with Wake Up, a song that really has nothing special. It's good enough to be put in green, but it's nothing truly amazing like Somebody To You from last year. We'll see how long it lasts and how long it’ll be until I get sick of it.

~ Last and definitely least, we have the worst song of 2016 so far. That is Kamikaze by . Words cannot even begin to describe how annoying this song is. It's truly atrocious and doesn't deserve to have any radio airplay. MØ's voice in this song is one of the most annoying things I've ever heard. Her vocal performance in Major Lazer's hit, Lean On, was so much better than her vocal performance in Kamikaze. I listen to this song and my ears scream for mercy. It sounds like something a child, who is completely inexperienced in the music industry, would create. One way or another, this giant piece of trash WILL make it into the Bottom 5 songs of 2016. You can count on that. I really hope it leaves soon.

Blurb Up
~ Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato – Irresistible made a nice jump to #3 this week. I would actually like to see this song hit #1.

~ Selena Gomez – Same Old Love at #4 is a big fat no. Stop this madness. Now!

~ One Direction – Perfect is now at #2. I feel like it does have a chance at #1. We'll see.

~ Rachel Platten – Stand By You is asking for entrance into the Top 10. I'll take that song over Same Old Love any day.

~ It's very unfortunate that our #2  song from last week is now at #16. On My Mind's time on the countdown is coming to end.

~ I Know What You Did Last Summer is probably not going to last very long. Same with Used To Love You.

~ Hits 1 must've read my comment last week on how DNCE – Cake By The Ocean was becoming a forgettable song. So they decided to make it more noticeable by boosting to up to a new peak of #13.

~ Fifth Harmony – Worth It is officially annoying. Please leave next week.

~ Despite its exit from the countdown this week, Panic! At The Disco – Victorious is on Hit-Bound. I guess that's what happens when you have Brendon Urie host.

~ Justin Bieber – Sorry made a really nice jump back into the Top 10! Now let's get it into the Top 5.

~ Am I really happy that Confident is our new #1 song? No. I'm just happy that Hello is not #1. I hope a song like Perfect or Irresistible can take over soon. But I'll take Confident over Hello any day.

~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! I can't add links in this app. So you can find it on the right side of the Web Version under the "Other Blogs" tab.

My Top 5 Picks
1. Justin Bieber – Sorry
2. Fall Out Boy/Demi Lovato – Irresistible
3. Twenty One Pilots – Stressed Out
4. Audien/Lady Antebellum – Something Better
5. Taylor Swift – Out Of The Woods

    1. I actually still like Black Magic, but I'm not devastated about its departure. Victorious is on Hit-Bound so it'll likely re-enter. And I'm happy about See You Again and Can't Sleep Love leaving.

  4. I'm so glad we got rid of 1 overrated hot mess of a song, and a song that wasn't good to begin with at all.

I do not think Black Magic and Victorious should've left.

All of the entrants are great except for The Fix, which just sucks.

There is no way Confident should've been #1. I'd take Hello or even Irresistible, but I'm getting tired of Confident.

Can we get On My Mind out of here, and get Something In The Way You Move In? I'm tired of hearing those scratchy guitars as part of the intro to this song.

I do not see Same Old Love hitting #1, even though I still like it.

Levels should not have re-entered, but hopefully it'll leave next week.

Here's how to clear the chart: Get rid of Photograph, Like I'm Gonna Lose You, Locked Away, Wildest Dreams, What Do You Mean, Levels, and Hide Away. Then get Something In The Way You Move, Magnets, Hollow, Another Lonely Night, Jet Black Heart, Adventure Of A Lifetime, and Victorious in.

There are many songs, that are either dropping, doing nothing or jumping in very small numbers. Songs like Used To Love You, In The Night, Moments, and Something Better should be up higher than they already are.

Now I think is the time I talk about the elephant in the room, Kamikaze. I really like this song, mainly because of those instrumentals and MO's backing vocals are not that bad in retrospect. And I know this will be in Adrian's Bottom 5 for 2016, and it will most likely be the next All About That Bass, being orange the whole time its on the chart.

So today My dad's football team (The Kansas City Chiefs) are going to face off against the New England Patriots. And, sorry Parker, but the Patriots are going down.

Also right now I am watching on of my favorite movies, called Black Hawk Down. The movie involves U.S. soliders in Somalia in '93, but are pinned down in the Somali capital, due to 2 of their Black Hawk Helicopters were shot down. its a good movie, but this is a warning, it does involve blood, death and language.

    6. For me:
      Can't decide, they're both annoying.
Pats would beat the Broncs any day!
Panthers, cause they'd beat Arizona like NE would beat Denver.
NFC, cause that's the league my fav team is on (Washington!)
Superbowl. As much as I love the Grammy's, the Superbowl is much more exciting. Besides, the Superbowl has those funny commercials. You know?

Can Justin hold onto the top spot for a 2nd week in a row? Or will Twenty One Pilots snag the top spot.

      - Christmas
      - Getting
      - The Super Bowl Commercials (I can't care less about the game)
      - Maroon 5 (either my #1 or #2 favorite band of all time. They're competing with Nickelback)
      - Grammys (I'm all for music award shows)
      - Tough one. Probably Hit-Bound just because it's full of fresh new music when you get tired of everything on the Weekend Countdown.

    4. Taylor Swift - She produces very good music that I get sick of.
Tom Brady - I love his full name because it's more catchier.
Cam Newton - I had to pick a random one because I don't know any of these.
Bad Blood - It just recently left the countdown so it's growing back on me again.
Trance - He says the exits of the weekend countdown every week and I will be in heaven if it has 6+ exits and they deserve to leave.
Dogs - I have a pet dog in my house named Elsa.
Hockey - I really hate playing football navies I have to run a lot.
Ellie Goulding - Adele produces a lot of slow music while Ellie doesn't.
Green - I chose this one because it's my last name.
Christmas - We do not celebrate Hanikuah in our culture or tradition.
Getting - I love prizes so much that I chose this one.
The Super Bowl - Anything that's commercial related is so boring and I hate them so much.
One Direction - One of my favorite songs right now is their song, Perfect.
Grammys - They feature awards of many different singers all the time.
Weekend Countdown - Hits 1 tweets out HitBound entrants on Friday so that doesn't make a surprise while they don't tweet Weekend Countdown entrants which make the number of debuts on the Weekend Countdown a surprise.

    5. Who's Ryan Adams?
Peyton Manning, cause he always does those funny Nationwide commercials
Cam Newton, the Panthers are more likely to win this week.
Bad Blood, cause I'm so darn sick and tired of listening to Wildest Dreams on the radio all the time (like what Adrian said).
Jack, cause we follow each other on Snapchat
      Dogs, I own one
Football, I watch football more than hockey
Adele, cause I'm getting sick of On My Mind and I never get sick of Adele songs.
A blueish-green color always looks pretty. That's all I'll say.
      Christmas, cause I celebrate it
Giving's always good, but getting's even better.
      The commercials. LOL.
Toughie. I'm gonna leave this one as an IDK.
Grammys, I like music better than movies.
Hit-bound, cause the music's fresh and some of the tracks I've come to LOVE!

  54. Guess the song:

Wave your hands side to side, put it in the air
Wave your hands side to side, put it in the air
Clap, clap, clap like you don't care
Smack that, clap, clap, clap like you don't care
    (I know you care)

Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap it
    Foot up, my foot up
Hold up now my foot up
    I'm spinnin' my foot up
Foot up yeah my foot up
    I'm spinnin' my foot up
Put my foot down yeah my hands up
My hands up, my hands up
    (Flexin')
    Flexin' while my hands up
My hands up, my hands up
I stand up with my hands up
Then I put up, my hands up
I put up, my hands up
I put up, my hands up
Then I'm spinnin' all my hands up
    (Spinnin')
    Spinnin' while my hands up
    (Spinnin')
    Spinnin' while my hands up
    (Spinnin')
    Spinnin' while my hands up
Then I'm tippin' all my hands up
Spinnin', I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin' while my hands up
I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin', I'm spinnin' while my hands up
