Yesterday, there were shooting attacks in Paris that were pretty much terrorist attacks. I'm not going to go that much into it. I'll just say how I pray that everything will get better for them and peace will soon be restored. #PrayForParis

New Entrants
~ This is our third consecutive week in which we have one re-entry and one debut. With that being said, as we have a re-entry from Nico & Vinz – That's How You Know, we have only one debut this week.
~ I never thought of Drake as a bad artist, he's had some pretty solid music in the past. His debut this week, Hotline Bling, is nothing more than a piece of garbage. Some of his other songs like Hold On, We're Going Home and Started From The Bottom we're actually pretty good. Hotline Bling, however, lacks good lyrical content, a good beat, good "rapping" skills (if you can even call that rapping), and everything that makes a good rap song. My ears don't appreciate this excuse of a song to be debuting here since I always thought of Hits 1 to be that station that never plays shitty rap music. Knowing Hits 1, I don't see this song doing very well on this countdown. I really hope I'm right.
Hotline Blurb
~ As Adele hits #1 with Hello on its third week on the countdown by going #14 –> #3 –> #1, it now holds the record for the quickest path to #1, originally held by Katy Perry. I definitely don't see this record breaking anytime soon.
~ The drop from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Downtown was definitely expected due to its lack of airplay. However, I did not necessarily expect Hula Hoop to drop as well. I actually find this song decent, but I won't be devastated if it's gone within the next few weeks.
~ Ed Sheeran – Photograph needs to start moving down already. I really don't want to hate this song again. I'm not going to be happy if it becomes the next Thinking Out Loud.
~ Speaking of Thinking Out Loud, it needs to leave already. It's pretty much long gone from every single chart expect this one. Who is still voting for this song?!?!
~ This countdown did not have a single good song all the way until Victorious at #28.
~ Jess Glynne – Hold My Hand is making an annoying little comeback. Can we get rid of this song. It has done its time already. I'm really tired of it since it was never that good of a song in the first place.
~ Walk The Moon – Different Colors is seriously not doing very well. Whether or not it'll make a comeback, I don't know. But I don't really mind either way.
~ Can we get Taylor Swift – Bad Blood off of this countdown already?! I'm so sick of it and it has grown to be very annoying.
~ I'm really upset that Hits 1 got rid of The Weeknd – The Hills so soon. I really like it and it's doing so well on every other hit music chart. Yet they still keep the mediocre Can't Feel My Face. Ugh.
~ I was listening to the YouTube15 last night and I LOVE Jenna Marbles! She's so funny! Then again, I laugh at pretty much everything. But I think she's really funny even though my dad, who was with me at the time, thinks she's really annoying. But whatever, we all have our opinions. She's definitely one of my favorite Hits 1 DJ's, right behind Spyder Harrison and The Morning Mash Up.
~ This weekend, One Direction are premiering their entire new album, Made In The A.M., as well as discussing each track and their backgrounds. So if anyone wants to listen. You can find out one of the time slots in Hits 1's schedule when that show will be airing.
~ The Hit 45 Chart for this week is out! Find out if X Ambassadors – Renegades can hold at #1 for a sixth week in a row and an eighth time overall.
Link: http://hit45chart.blogspot.com/2015/11/hit-45-chart-week-of-november-14-2015.html
~ Earlier this week, I posted my 500,000 pageview special on the Hit 45 Chart site. I'll put a link below so you can check that out. Basically, I counted down my 45 favorite songs of all-time. There were a ton of songs to choose from and a lot of songs unfortunately did make the cut. Here's a list of the songs that were really close, but didn't make it into the Top 45:
- Adam Lambert – If I Had You
- Bruno Mars – Grenade
- Coldplay – Violet Hill
- Ellie Goulding – Lights
- Enrique Iglesias/Pitbull – I Like It
- fun. – Some Nights
- Gavin DeGraw – Best I Ever Had
- Gym Class Heroes/Adam Levine – Stereo Hearts
- Lady Antebellum – I Was Here
- Linkin Park – Burn It Down
- Machine Gun Kelly/Ester Dean – Invincible
- Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger
- Maroon 5/Rihanna – If I Never See Your Face Again
- Natasha Bedingfield – Pocketful Of Sunshine
- Natasha Bedingfield – Unwritten
- Nickelback – When We Stand Together
- Nicki Minaj – Starships
- Olly Murs/Flo Rida – Troublemaker
- Robbie Williams/Kylie Minogue – Kids
- The Script – Breakeven (Falling To Pieces)
- Usher/Pitbull – DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love
So yeah. These songs came close, but I only had 45 slots and these songs unfortunately didn't make it. They're all really good though. I absolutely love all of these songs. But if you haven't checked out the special, the link is down below.
~ Does anyone remember Cobra Starship? They had the smash hit, You Make Me Feel..., back in late 2011. The band broke up earlier this week. Although I wasn't necessarily in love with them, some of their songs we're really catchy. So yeah. Just putting that out there.
~ Most Missed Song: Cobra Starship – #1Nite (One Night)
My Top 5 Picks
1. X Ambassadors – Renegades
2. Audien/Lady Antebellum – Something Better
3. Adele – Hello
4. Panic! At The Disco – Victorious
5. Adam Lambert – Ghost Town
I like the original If I Never See Your Face Again
ReplyDeleteThe one without Rihanna is one of my favorites off It Won't Be Soon Before Long
Rihanna ruins it her vocals are off and she adds more bubblegum pop to it which I felt was not needed
DeleteBut it's just my opinion
I personally think Rihanna makes the song better. I love her voice in the song.
DeleteThat's cool personally I just think it doesn't mix well
DeleteWhat is everyone's favorite way to cook eggs? Mine is overeasy
ReplyDeleteI mean eat eggs
Delete#PrayForParis
ReplyDeletei been looking trendy lately my sissys got jealous. on thursday, tori kept taking my things away. and she send me a aglogy nte. as her punishment, were going skating but she has to sit in the bench. and yesturday, she requested for a kiddie meal but changed her mind but its too late.
ReplyDeleteRant Time: I am f**king pissed off at hits 1 for making the hills leave. The Hills is a great song that some reason left. And for some reason they kept "i can't feel my face when i shit". On billboard, the hills is #3 and has been #1 for multiple weeks, i think 8, and it only peaked at 14 here. F**k that. Who even makes the countdown list? They should go to hell and lick an ass. In hell. My new favourite song on the countdown/hitbound is In The Night by The Weeknd. Yeah i like this dude. It's the weekend b*tches. On the countdown I like Irresistible. IN THE NIGHT SHE HEARS THEM CALLING!!. So I'd like to thank Abel for the joy he brought me with his song. Moment of silence: *trumpets playing*. Well on that note, I'd like to acknowledge what happened in Paris.Supposedly there was a terrorist attack, and I hope everyone is okay! BAII!
ReplyDeleteWhen Fifth Harmony - Worth It leaves, I will reply a rant on Trance's list of exits that says the song leaving on it.
DeleteOh yeah and what's your bottom 5 picks? You haven't done that in a while.
ReplyDeleteMy Bottom 5 Picks:
Delete1. Fall Out Boy – Uma Thurman
2. Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud
3. Twenty One Pilots – Tear In My Heart
4. Drake – Hotline Bling
5. Jason Derulo – Want To Want Me
-_-
DeleteI think we all knew Adele would hit #1 this week.
ReplyDeleteWe had 1 mediocre song leave and a really great song leave. While we get 1 terrible rap song and a re-entry from an ok song. 3 weeks in a row this has happened and now I'm starting to get sick of it.
I did not expect Good To Be Alive to jump into the mid 20's if I'm honest.
I can't believe Stitches dropped from #1 to #5.
Look at the top 3 and all of the songs have hit #1 for 1 week including Hello.
Irresistible dropping makes me mad!
Confident and Here jumping makes me happy!
Again, why is Thinking Out Loud jumping?!
Finally Locked Away dropped out of the top, and it better stay out.
Hey look everyone, See You Again is in the bottom 5 on the countdown, finally!
Unlike Adrian I am very angry that Downtown had the biggest DROP!!! this week.
Top 5:
1. Hello- Adele
2. Confident- Demi Lovato
3. On My Mind- Ellie Goulding
4. Victorious- Panic! At The Disco
5. Black Magic- Little Mix
Bottom 5:
1. Thinking Out Loud- Ed Sheeran
2. Locked Away- R.City ft. Adam Levine
3. Can't Sleep Love- Pentatonix
4. See You Again- Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth
5. Tear In My Heart- Twenty One Pilots
As many of you probably heard yesterday there was shootings and bombings inside the city of Paris, France. To me this is devastating to know that one of our greatest allies has been attacked yet again in the span of 11 months. And for the first time since WWII the city of Paris was put in a state of emergency. I heard that the rock concert had about 100 people held hostage and more than 100 people died so far. This cannot hold much longer and something must be done. My thoughts are with the people of Paris and the people of France, as they go though what many are calling the French 9/11. #PrayforParis
See You Again is in the Bottom 6.
DeleteAdrian in your list of songs that almost made it to your Top 45 All-Time, you didn't put Eminem/Rihanna - The Monster. I saw how much you love that song.
ReplyDeleteAnd.....
ReplyDeleteTHE WORST SINGERS OF ALL TIME
Luke Hemmings
Sydney Sierota (from Echosmith)
Macklemore
John Newman
Whoever sings in A Great Big World
And that's.... the worst singers of all time.
But despite how much I hate John Newman, Blame is one of my favorite dance songs of all-time.
DeleteNo, there should be Rebecca Black and Yoko Ono as the worst singers of all time.
DeleteI'm sure they all have better voices than you.
DeleteOHHHHH!!!!! BAMMMMMMM SHOTS FIRED!!!!!!!!!
DeleteNo they aren't. I can think of way worse artists than that.
DeleteNo, actually none of them can sing.
DeleteIn your opinion, they can't. But to the rest of the world who have made each of these have at least one worldwide hit, they definitely can sing.
DeleteLate addition to the list:
DeleteConrad Sewell (he SUCKS!!!!!!!!)
In addition, The Weeknd. Not a fan.

ReplyDeleteCan Adele hold onto #1 for a 3rd week in a row, or can Ariana Grande top the chart.
The reason the name is TheTopMusicHits102 is because the last channel was taken down due to copyright infringement complaints. This is why I do not like the YouTube copyright system and the 1976 Copyright law.
Wait Miles, you don't make those videos do you?
DeleteIf u do I love them!
DeleteI don't make them the person who does had his channel taken down due to multiple copyright infringement complaints AKA music companies don't want their songs to be "pirated" online.

ReplyDeleteBreaking News: Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are pregnant!

DeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOO GIANTS ARE WINNING BY 6 WITH LESS THAN 2 MINS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteActually touchdown was rejected pats with lead by 1 on giants third down

ReplyDeleteThe Hot 45 Chart is out! Can Taylor Swift hold the top spot for 12 weeks, tying the record with Bad Blood with Wildest Dreams? Also check out debuts from Ellie Goulding and Little Mix! hotfortyfive.blogspot.com

DeleteWhat was the highest jump to #1? And what was the biggest drop of all time? Something I wanna know.
ReplyDeleteThe highest jump to #1 was One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful (from #13) and that week 1D was guest-hosting, so technically they made their own song jump.
DeleteThat should'nt count
DeleteThe highest jump to #1 that I know of is Maroon 5 - One More Night from I believe #22. I'm too lazy to check though, so I could be wrong.
DeleteAnd I will check that.
DeleteActually, I checked and while I was right about the One More Night doing a +21 jump to #1, Katy Perry – Last Friday Night did a +32 jump to #1 back in July of 2011.
DeleteOkay so I checked CountdownRecap's blog and it said that One More Night did jump from #22, but Payphone, the former #1, dropped to #19. He said One More Night was the biggest jump to #1 since Katy Perry - Last Friday Night, which jumped 32 spots.
DeleteThat's what I said in the comment above.
DeleteIt probably wasn't updated yet when he was typing the comment.
DeleteBut what was the biggest DROP!!!... of all time on the Hits 1 Sirius XM Weekend Countdown.
DeleteAs far as I know, that title goes to Nicki Minaj – Super Bass with a –42 drop.
DeleteRemy's right
Delete42 DROP?? Well, that's harsh.

DeleteAND THE 1ST AND 5TH EXITS BETTER LEAVE OR ELSE
DeleteThe #2 and #4 songs in the debut list need to debut and the #1 song needs to leave and I'm so happy that Worth It wasn't on the list.
DeleteWorth It will probably leave the AT40 this week (sadly), and I agree on every one of your things. The #2 and #4 (along with #5) and #1 and #5 on the exits absolutely must leave.
DeleteWait guys!! I have enough votes for my Song Wars, so no more votes will be counted after this point!!
