Hey guys! My morning wasn't really that good. But that doesn't stop this guy from blogging the SiriusXM Hits 1 Weekend Countdown. This week was pretty boring and lame compared to last week. Part of the reason is that we only have one debut. Before we get to this week’s Fresh 45, here are the songs we’re saying goodbye to this week.

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: Iggy Azalea/Charli XCX – Fancy (–21)
Biggest Jump Of The Week: Tie Between Ariana Grande – Problem and Iggy Azalea/Rita Ora – Black Widow (+17)
New Entrant
~ Our lone new entrant this week is from Kiesza. Hideaway is catchy but weird at the same time. Especially since she sounds like a monkey in the chorus.
Hit-Bound
~ Cobra Starship is back with some new music on Hit-Bound.
~ Childish Gambino – 3005 is on Hit-Bound and I don't know what to think of it. It's definitely not good. It's either okay, or just plain out bad.
~ Betty Who – Somebody Loves You and Jesse McCartney – Superbad are still on Hit-Bound. I'm gonna get sick of them by the time they debut (if they debut).
~ Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, and Tujamo/Kid Ink – Delirious (Boneless) should debut on Hit-Bound. It's pretty good.
~ Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame needs to debut Hit-Bound and/or The Weekend Countdown! It's fantastic!
Top 5 Hit-Bound
1. Rixton – Wait On Me
2. Cobra Starship – Never Been In Love
3. Mary Lambert – Secrets
4. Ella Henderson – Ghost
5. Nicki Minaj – Anconda
Blurb-Away With Me Some More
~ Taylor Swift – Shake It Off is already in the Top 10. It has the chance to hit #1 on its fourth week taking the #39 –> #14 –> #7 path.
~ X Ambassadors/Jamie N Commons – Jungle jumped back to #21. That's good.
~ Sia – Chandelier is now in the Top 20.
~ Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend has been in the Bottom 5 for about two months.
~ Talk about a quick slip to the Bottom 5 for Becky G – Shower. Even I think that's kinda ridiculous.
~ T. Mills – All I Wanna Do is going in the wrong direction. Stop listening to the old/bad songs telling you to move down.
~ Fall Out Boy – Young Volcanoes really didn't have to hit #1. It made a wrong move there. It's not even popular anywhere else?!?!?! I can't be the only one who hasn't heard that song ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Not even on other SiriusXM stations.
~ Ingrid Michaelson – Girls Chase Boys and Magic! – Rude are the only songs to hold their spots from last week.
~ Time for 2014 Summer Voting Results. Songs being eliminated are:

ReplyDelete-Remy the Young Volcano
We aaaaaaaaaare wild, we are like YOUNG VOLCANOES!
Delete-Remy
This week was a bland, boring, and simply uninteresting week in general, I agree with you on Young Volcanoes hitting #1, but that's kinda like what On Top Of The World did, it was completely unrecognized anywhere else but here and hit #1, I was like, "Well what the heck it's old anyway" (that was when OTOTW hit #1 for the first time) and really, that's kinda what I thought when YV hit #1, it's just plain old by now.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I am not going to do a countdown review this week, it's that uninteresting (to me) so just wait till next week homies.
I was very happy about Hideaway debuting though.
-Remy
Purple - Fireball
ReplyDeleteGreen - Shake It Off, This Is How We Do, Break Free, All About That Bass, Bang Bang, Don't, Cool Kids, Black Widow, Habits, All I Wanna Do, Am I Wrong, Life's A Beach, Rather Be, Shower, I Will Never Let You Down, Bailando, I Wanna Get Better, Fancy, Young Volcanoes, Boom Clap, Undressed, Love Robbery
Blue - Maps, Really Don't Care, Sing, Jungle, Trumpets, Come With Me Now, Amnesia, Girls Chase Boys, A Sky Full Of Stars, On Top Of The World, Stay With Me, Chandelier
Pink - Rude, Love Runs Out, Latch
Yellow - Problem
Turquoise - She Looks So Perfect
Red - Hideaway, Me And My Broken Heart, Counting Stars, Sleeping With A Friend
Orange - Not A Bad Thing
This is all in order! Can I have a Hitbound? Plzplzplzplzplzplz thx
Lightning In A Bottle is in blue
-Cole
Hit-Bound is the same as the list on last week's post except Kiesza – Hideaway and G.R.L. – Ugly Heart left and Cobra Starship – Never Been In Love and Childish Gambino – 3005 debuted. There's a Hit-Bound list on the last post.
DeleteUgly Heart is still on Hit-Bound. I heard it on the list yesterday. I never heard the Cobra Starship song though, which is really weird.
DeleteSuperbad- Jesse McCartney
DeleteGhost- Ella Henderson
First Flight Home- Jake Miller
Secrets- Mary Lambert
American Dream- MKTO
Wait On Me- Rixton
Anaconda- Nicki Minaj
Girls- The 1975
Somebody Loves You- Betty Who
Somebody To You- The Vamps/Demi Lovato
I Can't Stop Drinking About You- Bebe Rexha
3005- Childish Gambino
Heart Made Up On You- R5
Bottoms Up- Brantley Gilbert
Ugly Heart- G.R.L.
Never Been In Love- Cobra Starship/Icona Pop
Ugly Heart did not aire. I listened to Hit-Bound earlier today and Never Been In Love came on right after Bottoms Up.
DeleteI heard Ugly Heart on Saturday, and Never Been In Love yesterday.
DeleteLies za-Hideway debuted. Jack
ReplyDeleteBest song on Hit-bound: Heart Made Up On You
ReplyDeleteWorst song: I Can't Stop Drinking About You
2nd place worst song: My Anaconda Don't Want None Unless You Got Buns Hun
(aka Anaconda)
All the others are either okay or bland
And seriously, what is Bebe Rexha trying to say in her piece of crap song? Is she like, in love with someone? Or what? I don't get it
-Remy the ICSDAY hater
Every song on Hit-Bound is good besides Childish Gambino – 3005 and The 1975 – Girls.
DeleteShe's talking about the person she's in love with being in love with someone else, and so she's taking shots to forget about that.
Delete-Trance the ICSDAY lover
Every song on hitbound is good except for Betty Who -Somebody loves you. Jack

I saw your hit 45 the number 1 was expected but I'm not happy with it I feel there are better songs than back home because back home is getting old
ReplyDeleteI still feel like Back Home is a really good song. It is starting to get old. But it had to hit #1 eventually on the chart.
