Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: American Authors – Best Day Of My Life (–20)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Sam Smith – Stay With Me (+29)

Imagine Dragons – Demons FINALLY left. But Tiësto – Red Lights and Pitbull/G.R.L. – Wild Wild Love lasted only four weeks. Think that's short? Timeflies – All The Way left after only two weeks. What a short run. But hey. We got some good entrant reviews coming up.

New Entrants
~ The song that appeared on the soundtrack for The Fault In Our Stars, Charli XCX – Boom Clap, made the countdown. I really like this song. It’s a fun song to jam out to. I would like it to stay a while.

~ After not very much success with Red Lights, Tiësto returned with the great vocals of Matthew Koma and produced Wasted. I absolutely love this song! It makes me wanna get up and move. It's a fun song and I hope it has a lot of success.

~ Clean Bandit – Rather Be is an interesting way of mixing classical music with electronic music. And it came out really well. This song is interesting. But the part that really pulls me in is the first part of the chorus.

~ Annoyingly, Cher Lloyd – Sirens is still on the countdown. And she’s back again with the fantastic female vocalist Demi Lovato with Really Don’t Care. This song is really good! Lovato does a beyond excellent job in the chorus. But like all Demi Lovato songs, I’ll get really sick of it at some point and I’ll want it to leave. But for now, it’s new and I must enjoy it while I still can.

I Blurb It Better When We’re Wasted
~ 5SOS – She Looks So Perfect managed to keep Magic! – Rude away from the #1 spot while Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong slowly climbs to it’s future #1 spot.

~ I had no idea Sam Smith – Stay With Me would jump this high. La La La and Latch never got this high. But I’m not complaining.

~ One Direction – You and I is looking to enter the Top 10.

~ I had no idea that Imagine Dragons – Radioactive already lasted a year on the countdown. It's already a month past a year.

~ Iggy Azalea – Fancy is in the Top 5. It's not gonna reach #1.

~ I nominate Calvin Harris – Summer for the summer song of 2014.

~ Fall Out Boy – Alone Together finally jumped out of the Bottom 5.

~ I'm (im)patiently waiting for Rita Ora – I Will Never Let You Down to debut the countdown.

~ Sometime this week, I'll have a post with a bunch of YouTube videos you should see. Also, I'll have the new voting polls for the Wutchuwant Countdown.

~ Here are the final two summer voting polls. Pop and country.

My Top 5 Picks
1. Nico and Vinz – Am I Wrong
2. Maroon 5 – Maps
3. Tiesto/Matthew Koma – Wasted
4. Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend

100,000 Pageview Special

Thank you guys for 100,000 pageviews! I'm so happy about that! Also, I'm glad to say that this website has become the top result when you search "Top 45 Weekend Countdown." I got a surprise coming up soon. But first, here's some other stuff.

~ I have a survey for you guys to take. It is completely optional. You can choose to not take the survey. It's basically a survey about you. The majority of the questions are optional. So you can skip them if you want.

Link To Survey: Survey About You

~ Here's what the Top 4 on the iTunes charts look like as of 2:12 PM yesterday.
As you can see, the annoying Magic! – Rude is currently #1. But at least the next 3 songs, Sam Smith – Stay With Me, Nico & Vinz – Am I Wrong, and Ariana Grande – Problem look really good. I've seen a bunch of negative reviews for Rude. Glad I'm not the only one! It's still like that now.

~ Don't forget to check out my Hit 45 Chart. I'm creating a Hit 45 Song Survey for you guys. All you do is rank songs from 1 to 10 based on how you think of them.

~ I made a special PowerPoint presentation for you guys to check out! I hope you enjoy it. If you have any trouble presenting/viewing it, tell me and I'll see if I can figure it out.

~ Also, I'd like to recognize all the songs so far this year that were on Hit-Bound, but didn't make it on to the Weekend Countdown. There may be more since I'm not always attentive to Hit-Bound music. Here are the ones I know for sure.
  • Calvin Harris/Ayah Marar – Thinking About You
  • Janelle Monae – Dance Apocalyptic
  • Chris Wallace – Keep Me Crazy
  • Peter Thomas/Betty Who – All Of You
  • Coldplay – Magic
  • The Chainsmokers – #SELFIE
  • Little Mix – Move
  • New Hollow – She Ain't You
  • Ellie Goulding – Beating Heart

~ Finally, the moment you've all been waiting for.....Today we are beginning your Wutchuwant countdown! Basically, every week I'll have a poll up for you guys to vote. I'll do the best I can to gather the results on put them into a countdown. If I feel like this is to much work, I'll stop it. But I plan to keep it going as long as I can. The first countdown will be this weekend. The poll is down below. (Sorry guys. I forgot to allow multiple responses. Next time.) (Also, I started the poll by going in alphabetical order, but that didn't work out so at some point it starts to get a little random.)

5 Seconds Of Summer (1) – Week Of June 21, 2014

So Jennifer Lopez was hosting this weekend’s countdown when I thought she hosting last week’s. As with all guest DJs, she was terrible. I didn’t hear her voice as much as I should’ve. She’s obviously not the worst guest DJ. That would be Britney Spears from Thanksgiving Day weekend. Also, 3,000 more pageviews and I got a special post for you. Before we get to this week’s Fresh 45, here are the songs we’re saying goodbye to this week.

  • Paramore – Ain't It Fun (#16)
  • DJ Snake/Lil Jon – Turn Down For What (#35)
  • Lorde – Team (#40) [DTHNOBx3]
  • DJ Cassidy/Robin Thicke/Jessie J – Calling All Hearts (#41)

19. Oh Honey – Be Okay (#14)
18. One Direction – You and I (#27)
17. John Legend/Tiësto – All Of Me (#5)
16. Ariana Grande – Problem (#20)
15. Calvin Harris – Summer (#15)
14. Katy Perry – Birthday (#13)
13. Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend (#12)
12. Justin Timberlake – Not A Bad Thing (#7)
11. Glenn Morrison/Islove – Goodbye (#11)
10. American Authors – Best Day Of My Life (#8)

  6. Bastille – Pompeii (#10)
  5. Ed Sheeran – Sing (#4)
  4. Imagine Dragons – On Top Of The World (#1)
  3. Magic! – Rude (#17)
  2. OneRepublic – Love Runs Out (#3)
  1. 5 Seconds Of Summer – She Looks So Perfect (#2) [New #1]

Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week: John Legend/Tiesto – All Of Me (–12)

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Magic! – Rude (+14)

New Entrants
~ Kim Cesarion – Undressed is decent-ish. I don't think it'll be very long until it enters Insta-Station Change mode.

~ Maroon 5 made an awesome comeback with Maps. With the recent success of Maroon 5, I'm pretty sure this song will hit #1. Besides, every Maroon 5 song since Moves Like Jagger has hit #1 at least once. I hope this stays for a while.

~ Sam Smith – Stay With Me is really good. As I said in the past, Sam Smith has amazing vocals! I hope this stays longer than his past two songs.

~ Finally, we come to Coldplay/Avicii – A Sky Full Of Stars. I love this song! Anything with Avicii is good. And I love Chris Martin's vocals. This better stay a long while.

A Sky Full Of Blurbs
~ Those of you who were excited about DJ Snake/Lil Jon – Turn Down For What debuting last week, you can hold your horses because that song just set the record this year for most hysterically short tenure on this countdown of only one week. This ties with Kid Cudi – Erase Me and KDrew – Body and Soul from previous years.

~ It looks like Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend votes didn't really kick in as much as I wanted them to.

~ Just when I thought the worst piece of crap on this countdown left, it got boosted to #23. This song is actually worse than the Bottom 2 songs from last year, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis – White Walls and Wax – Rosana. That really does tell you something since I absolutely HATED those two songs.

~ Nico & Vinz – Am I Wrong finally made that jump into the Top 10. And it was one of the most downloaded songs!!! How about we actually start focusing on getting that song to #1 instead. It seems like it has more potential.

~ Magic! – Rude is at #3. We might see this as a #1 song. I sure hope not!

~ OneRepublic – Love Runs Out is at #2. I doubt it'll hit #1.

~ We've reached #1. I kinda saw #1 potential in 5 Seconds Of Summer – She Looks So Perfect. It's kinda like One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful. Jennifer Lopez claimed that this is the very first time it hit #1 anywhere in North America. It was #1 on my countdown last weekend.

~ Timeflies – All The Way took a Tiesto – Red Lights drop to #43 on its second week.

~ Jennifer Lopez talked so fast every three songs and made this countdown go by so fast. Because of that, they were ahead of schedule. So they have to play random music until it's actually time for the next show (at this time, Hit-Bound) to start. At this time, they played all the songs that left.

~ Glenn Morrison/Islove – Goodbye held the #11 spot for three weeks and Calvin Harris – Summer held the #15 spot for three weeks.

~ Talk about a quick drop to the 30's for Pitbull/G.R.L. – Wild Wild Love. That song is actually pretty good.

~ It's hard to believe. But MKTO – Classic is one month away from lasting a year on this countdown. Could it be?

~ The next two voting polls are below. This week's genres are hip-hop/rap and latino. I've already recorded the results from alternative and dance.

My Top 5 Picks
1. Nico & Vinz – Am I Wrong
2. Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend
3. Maroon 5 – Maps
4. One Direction – You and I
5. Coldplay/Avicii – A Sky Full Of Stars

Top 5 Hit-Bound
1. Cris Cab/Pharrell Williams – Liar Liar
2. The Pretty Reckless – Heaven Knows
3. Demi Lovato/Cher Lloyd – Really Don't Care
4. Tiesto/Matthew Koma – Wasted
5. Kalin and Myles – Love Robbery

Hit 45 Chart Is Moving Back To Blogger

I have over 96,000 pageviews. 4,000 more and you guys got a special post coming your way. I'm probably causing a lot of confusion as I am continuously bouncing my Hit 45 Chart from one site to another. I want to say that I am officially moving the chart back to blogger because unlike the last site I was using (overblog.com), I can actually decorate blogger's blog easily. Everyone can stop going to hit45chart.over-blog.com and visit my very new blog. You guys can visit and comment. You can even comment your personal charts if you want. I'll have a bunch of polls and fun surveys for you guys. I feel like this move will be a whole lot easier for me. I'll do a lot of customizing and make it look pretty since it's summer and I got nothing to do. Enjoy! (BTW, don't forget about the voting polls. They close tomorrow. Next two polls will be out tomorrow.)

Mid-Week News

I'm well over 95,000 pageviews. 5,000 more and I'll do a special post. Anyway, welcome to this week's edition of Mid-Week News! Since it's summer, I don't really have anything to do. So I'll start doing Mid-Week News every now and then. Let's begin!

Music:

~ In music news, Maroon 5 made an awesome comeback with their new single, Maps. This song is just amazing. It will become a hit. You guys should take a listen to it. I'm sure you'll love it.

Link To Video: Maroon 5 – Maps (Audio)

~ In other news, Sam Smith released his new album, In The Lonely Hour. This album contains Stay With Me and Money On My Mind from the Nirvana - EP. This album also contains Naughty Boy/Sam Smith – La La La and an acoustic version of Disclosure/Sam Smith – Latch.

~ Ed Sheeran is slowly releasing singles from his new album, X. And they're starting to take over the iTunes charts. There are about five Ed Sheeran songs in the Top 20.

~ Halsey did a cover of Katy Perry – Birthday. Check out the video on the Hits 1 Facebook Page.

~ That hottie, Austin Mahone will be going on tour soon. For concert dates and tickets, go to http://www.ticketmaster.com/Austin-Mahone-tickets/artist/1715801.

~ Speaking of Austin Mahone, his album, The Secret, is incredible! You'll love it! Personally, my favorite song off the album is Secret.

~ Ms. JLo (Jennifer Lopez) and Mr. Worldwide (Pitbull) kicked off the World Cup with a performance at the opening ceremony. And I agree that Pitbull's white pants looked a little ridiculous.

Movies:

~ I don't have that much for movie news since I'm not good at keeping up with movies. I haven't even finished watching Frozen yet!

~ I recently watched Non-Stop, which stars Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, and many more. Apparently, the movie is about someone hijacking a plane. But I don't really think that's what it's about. I enjoyed it. 9.5 out of 10.

~ Alright. Who loves Melissa McCarthey? Because I sure do. She is hilarious. She is starring in a new movie called TAMMY. By watching the trailer, I can already tell that it'll be hilarious. I'm guessing it will be a 10 out of 10. We'll see.

~ If you haven't watched Godzilla yet, you should. It was a good movie. 9 out of 10.

~ I am constantly watching Grown Ups 2 because it is hilarious. It is Adam Sandler who makes this movie hilarious! Everything about the movie is funny. 10 out of 10 for sure!

TV Shows:

~ Hopefully, everyone is watching America's Got Talent. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a talent show where people show off their talent to win $1 million. It's fun to watch because there a lot of good acts, a lot of bad acts, and a lot of funny acts. Nick Cannon is the host and the judges are Howie Mandel, Mel B.(From The Spice Girls), Heidi Klum, and Howard Stern. The judges and the host are all hilarious! Right now we are currently in the auditions part of the show. This show gets a 10 out of 10 from me! Here are the links to some audition videos you guys should watch. Either I found them good or I found them funny. Maybe both.

America's Got Talent Larry The Mime Act

America's Got Talent 93-Year-Old Man Pulling Cars With His Teeth

America's Got Talent Grand Master Qi Feilong (I don't think he made it through.)

America's Got Talent Professional Twerker

America's Got Talent Dustin's Dojo

America's Got Talent Jaycob Curlee sings John Mayer – Waiting On The World To Change (I loved this so much!)

America's Got Talent Miguel Dakota covers Alex Clare – Too Close

America's Got Talent Diverse Boy Band Performs With Broken Buzzers

America's Got Talent Justin Rhodes covers Avicii/Aloe Blacc – Wake Me Up

America's Got Talent Jodi Miller As A Comedian

America's Got Talent Josh Orlian As A Stand-Up Comedian

America's Got Talent Laura Dasi Performs Beautiful Aerial Art

(Hope you enjoyed them.)

~ Do you guys remember Ugly Betty? It was a fantastic show that was sadly cancelled. For those of you who never saw it, you'll have to look it up because I can't tell you what it's about. Too much explaining. Do you guys know what I liked best about the show? I loved how Justin Suarez (played by Mark Indelicato) and Austin Marley (played by Ryan McGinnis) became a couple. They were an absolutely beautiful gay couple. I loved them. I even love just seeing pictures of them together. Which is why I'm posting pictures of them on my Google Site (Remember? Where I used to have my Hit 45 Chart. I'll give you the link). You should follow the link and check out these really cute pics. If you are a homophobe or anti-gay, you probably don't want to click on the link. I just wish there was at least a Season 5 of this show (It got cancelled after Season 4). So enjoy the pics. My recommendation is to listen to One Direction – You and I while looking at these pics because I feel like it is a very appropriate song.

Link To Justin and Austin Pics: https://sites.google.com/a/maine207west.org/hit-45-chart/randomness/ugly-betty-justin-and-austin-pics

~ Team Usher won this past season of The Voice if you don't already know.

~ That is it for this week's edition of Mid-Week News. Remember to go to previous post to vote for you favorite alternative and dance song. Voting closes on Saturday!

Biggest Jump Of The Week: Ariana Grande – Problem (+13)

New Entrants
~ I can't be the only one sick of Lorde – Team. What the hell gave Hits 1 that stupid idea of bringing that song back?

~ I was afraid Timeflies – All The Way wouldn't make it to the countdown since it left Hit-Bound last week. But it did! And I'm happy about that.

~ JLo is back. Her song First Love is probably almost as good as her best song, On The Floor. I didn't think that was possible...

~ DJ Snake/Lil Jon – Turn Down For What finally debuted on the Weekend Countdown. That song is already #4 on my countdown, #11 on Dylan George's countdown, and #5 on the American Top 40. Hits 1 needs to seriously catch up on their hits.

I Blurb On Top Of The World
~ Tiesto – Red Lights is at #45 on it's third week. I feel like this song won't be staying with us that much longer.

~ 5 Seconds Of Summer – She Looks So Perfect hit #2 this week. I feel like we'll be seeing this as a #1 song in the near future.

~ American Authors – Best Day Of My Life needs to go. It is constantly jumping in and out of the Top 10. It's starting to get annoying.

~ Hits 1 does a pretty good job at throwing away music once it gets old (some of the time anyway). They threw Jason Derulo – Talk Dirty to the Bottom 5 this week. It was #1 three weeks ago! I feel like we'll see it make a huge jump next week.

~ Neon Trees – Sleeping With A Friend exited the Top 10! I think we all know what to do about that! Go to the Hits 1 voting poll and vote for Sleeping With A Friend as many times as you can every day. Our goal is to get that song to #1. Let's begin the voting today.

~ You know what song Jason Derulo/Snoop Dogg – Wiggle reminds me of? Flo Rida/Pitbull – Can't Believe It. For those of you who don't know this song, you don't wanna know it. It is an absolutely horrible song. The music video is highly inappropriate and just plain out disgusting. And don't even get me started on the lyrics. Luckily, it never debuted the Weekend Countdown because it got stranded on Hit-Bound. Whenever you hear Wiggle, think about Can't Believe It.

~ Nico & Vinz – Am I Wrong needs to start catching up and make that jump into the Top 10. But for now, we are only focusing on voting for Sleeping With A Friend.

~ I've decided to give Fall Out Boy – Young Volcanoes a chance.

~ DJ Cassidy – Calling All Hearts lasted longer than I thought it would.

~ My countdown blog moved to another site. This time I swear I won't change it for a while. My new site is at hit45chart.over-blog.com. Visit, comment, and vote on the voting poll!

~ I'm well over 93,000 pageviews! Thanks guys! I may have a special post when I reach 100,000 pageviews!

~ I almost didn't make this post because I accidentally deleted it. I had already typed the countdown and the entrant reviews. And that was all deleted. But I also wanted to have a post for you guys. So I typed the whole thing over again for you guys.

~ OneRepublic – Love Runs Out is in the Top 5. Things just got a lot more interesting.
