600,000 Pageview Special – Q&A Post

600,000 pageviews is really something. We're more than halfway towards 1,000,000! Let's make it happen! But as always, I greatly appreciate everything you guys do for this site. Just having you guys always viewing my posts and commenting makes me happy. I never thought this site would get this far and I'm really glad that it did! So thanks to all of you! I love you all! Now for the milestone special! You guys asked the questions, I have the answers! Let's begin! (Keep in mind that I randomized the order of the questions. They are not in the order in which I received them.)

Question #1: Rank these songs from best to worst:

  • Icona Pop – Emergency
  • ZZ Ward – Love 3X
  • MØ – Kamikaze

Answer: Ugh! Decisions, decisions. This was pretty hard. But out of those three, the one that sucks the least coming in 3rd place for worst songs is Love 3X. Coming in 2nd place would be Emergency. I can't even begin to say how annoying that song is. But it's not as annoying as Kamikaze as that song comes in 1st place for the worst song of those three.

Question #2: What internet do you use? (Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
Answer: I use AT&T.

Question #3: What is your 1st period at school?
Answer: Advanced Algebra & Trig. It's not necessarily the class you want to have first since I'm never fully awake during first period.

Question #4: What's 5 Seconds of Summer's best song in your opinion?
Answer: I think my favorite song from them is What I Like About You just because I got tired of all the other ones. This one was kind of underrated, which is why I never got tired of it. She's Kinda Hot was pretty good too though.

Question #5: Do you like Sugar or Uma Thurman better?
Answer: I'm going to have to go Sugar on this one. If I was asked this question when both songs first debuted on the Weekend Countdown, I would've said Uma Thurman. But Hits 1 killed that song and even though they're both really bad, I picked Sugar because Maroon 5 have had better history in their music in my opinion than Fall Out Boy.

Question #6: Are chickens green?
Answer: No.

Question #7: Are you a male or female?
Answer: I'm a male for your information.

Question #8: Are you hispanic?
Answer: Yes I am!

Question #9: Do you poop often?
Answer: No more than once a day or once every other day.

Question #10: Which genre of music do you prefer - pop or rock?
Answer: Pop. Rock is good sometimes. But pop is what most of my playlist is filled with with some EDM, country, hip-hop, and alternative/rock mixed in.

Question #11: Do you play video games? If so, what are some of your favorites?
Answer: I rarely play video games nowadays. I used to love playing Left 4 Dead as well as Left 4 Dead 2. When I was young, lego games (Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, Lego Indiana Jones, etc.) were the bomb.com! I still think they're pretty fun. But my brother plays a lot of Call Of Duty nowadays.

Question #12: Do you drive a car?
Answer: No. But I am taking drivers ed next semester. So before I know it, I'll be behind the wheel!

Question #13: How much time do you spend on your blog?
Answer: I try to dedicate one hour of my Saturday to post the Weekend Countdown and one hour of my Friday to post my Hit 45 Chart. Right now I'm spending a lot more time on this blog since I have so many end of the year posts that I'm working on all at the same time. So yeah.

Question #14: What's your favorite Christmas Carol?
Answer: Probably Silent Night.

Question #15: If you are thinking about it yet, where do you want to go to college?
Answer: I really haven't put much thought into that. I have to eventually. But for now, I'm probably going to go to some community college I live by.

Question #16: Do you plan to blog in college?
Answer: This is a hard question because I honestly don't know. I'll try my best because really I only need one hour out of my Saturday. We'll see when that time comes.

Question #17: What's your opinion on R. City/Chloe Angelides – Make Up?
Answer: I think it's pretty catchy. It's nice and fresh since I'm a little tired of Locked Away at this point.

Question #18: What's your opinion on Owl City – Unbelievable?
Answer: I love almost anything by Owl City. Honestly, Unbelieveable is a really catchy song. It's not as good as Fireflies or Good Time. But my expectations weren't too high. So I would say this song meets my expectations.

Question #19: Kamikaze or Trap Queen?
Answer: Trap Queen.

Question #20: What's your favorite all time song?
Answer: Eminem/Rihanna – Love The Way You Lie

Question #21: What grade are you in and what state do you live in?
Answer: I'm in my junior year in high school (11th grade). I live in Illinois.

Question #22: Rank these bands from best to worst:

  • 5 Seconds Of Summer
  • Maroon 5
  • One Direction

Answer (#1 being best):

  1. Maroon 5
  2. One Direction
  3. 5 Seconds Of Summer

Question #23: What TV shows from when you were a kid (like a cartoon) do you still like?
Answer: I don't really watch much TV nowadays. I do still like shows like "Regular Show". But aside from that, not much.

Question #24: What do you want most for Christmas?
Answer: When I was younger, I used to hate getting clothes. Now I want clothes. Or at least some money so I can buy myself clothes. Anything like a hoodie or a new pair of shoes would do.

Question #25: What does your dresser look like in the summer/winter?
Answer: In the summer, I typically wear shorts, a T-shirt, and flip flops. Not that big of a deal. In the fall, winter, and spring, I typically wear skinny jeans, a pullover hoodie, and my Vans high-tops similar to these:

So yeah.

Question #26: Who's the worst and best Weekend Countdown guest hosts you listened to?
Answer: The best is easy. That would be The Morning Mash Up, who hosted earlier this year one week. I love listening to these people every morning. So I definitely enjoyed them hosting the countdown. They should do it more often. The worst would probably be Britney Spears, who hosted sometime in 2013. She was pretty bad.

Question #27: Will you do a full review of Billboard's year-end list of the biggest 100 songs of 2015?
Answer: I'll try. It seems like a really cool idea, which is why I want to do it. But it may be hard since I'm really busy. But I'll definitely try.

Question #28: Will you do something special or something better when you hit 1,000,000 pageviews? #RoadToAMilli
Answer: 1,000,000 pageviews will really be something big. So I will try to make that special something big!

Question #29: What are your three favorite songs from Justin Bieber's "Purpose" and One Direction's "Made In The A.M."?
Answer:

Made In The A.M.

  1. Hey Angel (love this song so much!)
  2. A.M.
  3. Drag Me Down

Purpose
  1. Sorry (this is my jam!)
  2. Love Yourself
  3. Children

Question #30: What are your Bottom 5 songs of all time?
Answer: This list will not include songs from this year as it does hint at what the Bottom 5 Songs of 2015 will look, which I want to be somewhat kept a surprise.

Bottom 5 Songs (Before 2015)
5. Anything by Lil Wayne
4. Beyoncé – Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)
3. Wax – Rosana
2. Cee Lo Green – Forget You
1. Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass

Question #31: Rank the following songs:

  • Eminem/Rihanna – The Monster
  • X Ambassadors – Renegades
  • Audien/Lady Antebellum – Something Better
  • Justin Bieber – Sorry
  • David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Bebe Rexha/Afrojack – Hey Mama
  • Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame

Answer: I'm sorry, but I will not be ranking the songs from this year because that will hint at what the Top 45 Songs of 2015 will look like, which I don't want. I want it to be at least somewhat of a surprise. So taking the remaining two songs from last year:

  1. Blame
  2. The Monster

Question #32: Is it too late now to say sorry? :D
Answer: Unfortunately, yes it is. :P

Question #33: Who's the hottest celebrity in your opinion?
Answer: Definitely Taylor Lautner. He is absolutely gorgeous! Everything about him in terms of looks is just perfect. He's pretty much one of the most gorgeous human beings on the plant.

So those were your questions and my answers! I'm still working on many other posts, so stay tuned as those will get published slowly, but surely. And once again, thank you guys for 600,000 pageviews!

    2. You know what Parker, I really love 5 Seconds Of Summer - She's Kinda Hot even though it's your least favorite song of all time. You'll have to know that everyone's opinion is different and you just have to ignore it.

      Delete
    3. Seriously, what is so bad about Anaconda? And Adrian, are me and you the only ones who like it?

      Delete
    4. I hate Anaconda so freakin' badly and it's a song that should be only for adults.

      Delete
    5. But adults kind of hate it too. I feel as though Nicki Minaj's targeted audience would be teenagers or people in their early 20s. Especially for songs like Anaconda.

She's very popular in this generation, which is why teens are who mostly listen to her. I rarely ever see adults jamming out to her music. It's mostly younger people.

  10. You hate Kamikaze that much? I'm surprised.
Also, in case you've forgotten, I'm a freshman and I live in Maryland.

    1. Also yeah anything by Lil Wayne sucks pretty bad.

    2. Kamikaze sounds like something a two-year old produced. It's awful.

      Delete
    3. She's Kinda Hot sounds something like a newborn produced.

      Delete
    4. Anaconda sounds like something that is not for kids ever.

      Delete
    5. So you're saying Kamikaze is worse than Trap Queen? And is it the worst song of 2015?

      Delete
    6. It's pretty clear Anaconda is not for kids. But not every song can be kid-proof. A song like Anaconda that comes around every now and then would be something fun to jam out to or, if you're feeling it, twerk to.

  13. Guys, what's so bad about Lil Wayne? He's a very good singer and I love his music but not all.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He's not a singer. He's a god awful rapper with one of the most annoying voices in the music industry. There are some good songs that he's featured in that I listen to often where his voice is irritating as hell.

    2. So what do you think of Eminem/Lil Wayne - No Love?
