400,000 Pageview Special – Combination Of Previous Milestones

What's up guys? For my 400,000 pageview special post, we'll be combining two of the previous milestone posts that have been done in the past. So what I'll be doing is a combination of music video reviews as well as a Q&A. Of course the Q&A will not be up yet because I need you guys to give me some new questions. But I will have the music video reviews up right now. Before we get to the music video reviews, here is the link to the survey for you to give me questions. All the info you need is in the survey. So start sending me some questions.

Video Reviews:

  • Maroon 5 – This Summer's Gonna Hurt... (Song Grade: A)

Video Review: Let me just start off by saying this video has absolutely no relation to the song itself. Instead, for the first half of the video we just see Adam Levine getting dressed and ready for a performance lip syncing to the song. Then him and the rest of the band hit the stage for the second half of the video. Not much to this video. There was only one thing that wowed me during the video and the shot of Adam Levine's bare ass. That was really the only enjoyable part of this mediocre video. It is likely I will never watch the video again.

Overall Video Grade: C+

  • Ellie Goulding – Love Me Like You Do (Song Grade: A+)

Video Review: So Fifty Shades Of Grey, huh? More like Fifty Shades Of Sex. It's clearly shown in the video that there's a lot of sex in this movie, not that that's a bad thing, at least if I'm not watching it with my parents, otherwise it'll get awkward. As much as this song and video is about sex, I really don't care. The scenery in some of the shots is just beautiful. I'm still in love with the song and the video actually makes me love the song more. I may not like the movie that much, but I absolutely love this song and video. I would definitely again. It has over 82,000 dislikes on YouTube, which is no surprise to me. I know a lot of people probably don't like it because it's about sex, but I am one of the 2,273,032 people who likes this.

Overall Video Grade: A+

  • David Guetta/Nicki Minaj/Bebe Rexha/Afrojack – Hey Mama (Song Grade: A+)

Video Review: I had absolutely no idea what was happening in this video. I mean you had David Guetta, you had Afrojack, then you had some weird hologram of Nicki Minaj. I'm sorry Guetta but this was probably your weirdest video ever. I absolutely love the song, but the video just isn't working for me.

Overall Video Grade: C

  • Carly Rae Jepsen – I Really Like You (Song Grade: A)

Video Review: This video for the most part is Tom Hanks lip syncing throughout the song. It wasn't really until the final chorus where Carly Rae Jepsen and a huge crowd joins him. Even Justin Bieber makes an appearance in this video. Justin also did a parody of this song with Ariana Grande and others. Click here for the link to that video. Aside from that, this video was fun to watch. I may or may not watch it again. But for the most part, it was good.

Overall Video Grade: A–

  • Fetty Wap – Trap Queen (Song Grade: F)

Video Review: This video has absolutely nothing to it. You basically see this guy rapping just about the entire video. Incredibly stupid song and video. And I'm very fascinated by the fact that everyone in this video is black. I don't want to sound racist (even though that was not a racist comment). This song just needs to be abolished from all radio stations and all music charts.

Overall Video Grade: F

  • Omi – Cheerleader (Song Grade: C)

Link To YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGflUbPQfW8

Video Review: Honestly, this song is on the verge of becoming very annoying. And the excessive use of the trumpet in the song doesn't help it at all. The video is okay, I guess. Like Trap Queen, it really doesn't have much to it. But the fact that this is really high up on the iTunes charts kind of scares me.

Overall Video Grade: C–

  • Nicki Minaj – The Night Is Still Young (Song Grade: A+)

Video Review: This song isn't your typical Nicki Minaj song about sex. Thankfully she wasn't naked in this video. It mainly says that the night is still young and you should enjoy while you're still young. Although it may sound stupid because she's partying and drinking, it really does have meaning saying that you should enjoy the time you have while you're still young. Besides that, in the video, Nicki Minaj has clearly not given up on the wigs on makeup that makes her look really young. The video overall was good. That's all I can really say about it.

Overall Video Grade: A–

  • Adam Lambert – Ghost Town (Song Grade: A+)

Video Review: There was quite a bit going on in this video between watching Adam Lambert "sing" and watching a bunch of dancers. It starts off kind of slow, but then gets more interesting when you reach the chorus. Because I absolutely love this song, the video isn't horrible. But throughout the video, I don't really have a sense as to what's going on. But overall the video was very interesting. By the way, Adam Lambert's album, The Original High, is out now. Go buy or download a copy to get songs like Ghost Town and many others.

Overall Video Grade: B+

  • Taylor Swift/Kendrick Lamar – Bad Blood (Song Grade: A+)

Video Review: Finally! A music video with a storyline that I can follow! Basically Catastrophe (Taylor Swift) and Arsyn (Selena Gomez) worked together until Arsyn turned on Catastrophe. Then a huge chunk of the video is Catastrophe readying herself for that moment of revenge. This video features many other celebrities including Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, and Hayley Williams. We also have our one male artist in the video, Kendrick Lamar, who I would say adds a lot to the song. But that moment when the final chorus comes in and it becomes entirely explosions is the best! I don't know about you, but I personally think this music video can be turned into a movie. This video wins the award for being my favorite music video so far this year.

Overall Video Grade: A+

*snaps into reality* WHOA! Did I just go into full blown hippie there? We should try to make a better chart, and one of us will RULE as the new king of top 45 charts. (Well, to be fair, Thatchos has 30 every week, but it's still a personal chart.)

    35. WOOP WOOP (turquoise)
    34. I don't know how long this one will last… (blue)

    3. I almost don't want to admit it…but I think I'm growing into this one. As long as it doesn't spend too long at #1…if it gets there, that is. (blue/green oblivion)
    2. This week I realized: it is going to take me a LONG TIME to get sick of this song. (purple - #tied with #5)
    1. Quick question: is there anyone in the WCSquad who is sick of this song? Not that I am, but I'm just wondering. (pink)

    2. The worst week of 2013 and the best week of 2013 are actually next to each other, coincidence?

    3. Oh and I forgot that we had a 7 DTHNOB week in May 30th 2015, that's actually the best week while February 21st is in a close second.

    5. I'm not saying it's gonna debut without a doubt, but it's definitely a possibility. If not, it's gonna re-enter hit-bound. I heard it on Hits 1 in my car on Thursday, so it's definitely not gone forever.
