New Entrants
~ No debuts this week, unfortunately. I'm not surprised though because I've noticed a lack of Hit-Bound music this week. However, we did get a re-entry from Cobra Starship/Icona Pop – Never Been In Love at #44. These re-entrants are just plain out random sometimes.
Never Blurbed In Love
~ Taylor Swift – Shake It Off has now tied the record for most weeks at #1 with Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe and Pitbull/Ke$ha – Timber with nine weeks. Keep doing what you're doing Taylor.
~ Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame continues descending slowly. Please start moving up again. :(
~ I'm still trying to figure out why and how Hozier – Take Me To Church had the Biggest DROP!!!... Of The Week. The song is really popular spending quite a while towards the top of the iTunes charts.
~ Iggy Azalea/Rita Ora – Black Widow is fading away pretty quickly. I'm actually not sick of it yet.
~ Ed Sheeran – Don't and Tove Lo – Habits need to leave the Top 10.
~ I'm spending a lot of time wondering how MisterWives – Reflections is on this countdown, let alone at #26.
WE INTERRUPT THIS PROGRAM TO BRING YOU IMPORTANT HIT-BOUND NOTES.
~ Bebe Rexha – I Can't Stop Drinking About You IS STILL ON HIT-BOUND!!! It's been on there almost as long as The Wanted – We Own The Night from last year!
~ Mary J. Blige – Right Now has apparently been replaced with the song she performed at the AMA's, Therapy, on Hit-Bound. They're both really good.
~ Priory – Weekend and Meghan Trainor – Lips Are Movin' are probably the only bad songs on Hit-Bound.
~ I swear, some of these songs on Hit-Bound have been on there for quite a while. Obviously, I Can't Stop Drinking About You. But also songs like Eden XO – (Not) Too Cool To Dance and Magic! – Let Your Hair Down.
WE NOW RETURN TO YOUR REGULAR SCHEDULED PROGRAMS.
~ If you listened to Hits 1 on the SiriusXM app like me, you should've noticed that half of the songs Hits 1 played had the wrong album covers. They should probably fix that.
~ Later in December, I'm gonna give my Top 45 songs of the year. And at this point, no more entrants will be qualified for the Top 45. All the debuts from here on out will be the songs looked at first for the Top 45 songs of 2015. The only exception to this is Bebe Rexha – I Can't Stop Drinking About You because I've known the song since August. If it debuts before the end of the year, it will be qualified to appear in the Top 45 Songs Of 2014.
~ If you haven't already checked out my Hit 45 Chart for this week, click here to find out if Calvin Harris/John Newman – Blame will hold #1 for a tenth week in a row!
~ I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and if you went out for Black Friday, you didn't get killed by crazy shoppers.
